Jack's 1 on 1 Classes
Welcome to our Tutoring Services Policies page. Our aim is to provide a high-quality tutoring experience to our students. To ensure the best possible service, please review the following policies carefully:
Attendance expectations
Weekly attendance is a requirement of the tutoring program. This is to ensure adequate preparation for the assessment tasks and final exam. No more than 2 lessons per term should be missed.
Lesson Payment
Payments are due on a term basis during term time and a per-lesson basis during school holidays.
Missed Lessons
During term time, students are required to give a minimum of 3 days' notice if they are unable to attend a scheduled lesson. This will allow us to credit the missed lesson to the following term payment.
Cancellation
The tutoring program can be cancelled at any time without charge, however, term payments are non-refundable.
By enrolling in our tutoring program, you agree to abide by these policies. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Jack's Group Classes
To ensure the smooth running of the group tutoring program, please take note of the following policies:
Term Payments
Term payment is to be provided within the first week of term. Payment covers weekly lessons at an allocated time each week for the duration of the term. If payment is not made in a timely manner, the place in the program may be forfeited and offered to another student.
Essay Feedback
Feedback on writing and essay is to be provided within scheduled lesson times, unless otherwise stated.
Missed Lessons
It is the student's responsibility to attend lessons covered by Term Payment. Students who are unable to attend a lesson must provide 3 days' prior notice, and the lesson will be credited towards the following term payment. Missed lessons will not be credited if less than 3 days' notice is provided.
Cancellation or suspension of tutoring program will result in a forfeiting of lesson credits.
Group sizes
Group size is 2 to 7 students.
Cancellation
Term payments are non-refundable.
If one student is absent in a group of 2 lesson, the lesson time will be reduced by half for the present student.
